Sandcastles Needs You!
The Sandcastles museum board is currently working in the temporary space in the 400 block of south James Street. Under construction are a tree house, apple tree, and water table. There will be some completely new features this summer, including educational activities. Volunteers are always needed to help with these projects, and to help out at the museum during the summer.
Last summer's exhibits included a theatrical stage, art center, music, sandbox, exploration table, and discovery bins. Sandcastles strives to develop activities that encourage children to discover, create, and explore. It's a place that allows interaction between kids and their parents or grandparents. Sandcastles is a wonderful addition to the Ludington community, along with the new Center for the Arts that will open this summer.
